Saipan Dive Boat Companies

Local divers can book a spot on any one of these dive boats. The companies usually have a set schedule for the day. Half and full day charters are available. Prices range from $30-$50 for a two tank dive depending on the dive sites. Price does not include gear or dive guide. Boat companies reserve the right to refuse anyone if they feel the divers are not experienced enough to dive without guide.

Do you reccomend anyone in particular for boat dives? Last time we were diving in Saipan we inquired on boat dives and were quoted $150 for 2 tank dives (seemed completely ridiculous) - we're both advanced/rescue and have our own gear.

The price for two boatdives guided by a dive shop should be somewhere between $100 & $125, depending on the site.

You can go directly to the boat company too, their price for dropping you off at two sites is somewhere around $40/45. Guide not included. They have a set schedule

Boat companies however might be reluctant to accept people they do not know. You can try Pacific Quest (It's easiest if you call cpt. Lee directly) or Aquajet (Talk to Scott).

According to their 2008 price list Speedy Tertle (234-6284) charges between $100 and $130 for guided boat dives. Ask for Eric Javier, he's a great instructor.

Aquasmith (233-5055) charges $125 if I am not mistaken. Ask for me :)

Thanks! That is exactly the advice I needed. One other thing...any news on Eagle Ray City? We heard it was vacant for the last year or so. (ray-wise)

I haven't been at Eagle Ray City for a while, because the reports have been bad. Very few ray sightings. If you want to see rays go to Icecream, there are usually three or more rays that hang out there.
